The return of Slims shady (repost)

 

Listen, guys.


I know I have not written a blog post, in years, but I think it's time to tell you --that I promise nothing.

Today is my birthday, I have risen to level 29. I feel, as if I have spent the previous years grinding mudcrabs on the farm, you know? Time for me is a weekend, passing quickly. One day you are watching youtube in college computer rooms, instead of studying, then you are at home making a life-long hobby out of modding Skyrim and Nintendo rom hacks.

I think about this often, how even 5 years feel like nothing. So, to imagine that next year I will be turning 30, has me giving my timbers some shivers. In ten years I will be approaching 40. That's literally both peak and downhill for me.

I will sadly not be as handsome as I am now, so just take that into your thoughts. Will I ever grow a beard? Who knows. Probably NEVER! But, there is hope, if you ever catch me on a weekend after pulling all nighters on TeraOnline. Just Saying.

Anyway, I'm not saying that neglecting my blogging status has affected me profoundly, but I feel like a tea pot holding in the steam. After so many years of being broke and poor, I at last am getting a computer. Will I have enough for more things? Time and work will tell. What I do know, howevers, is that in order to have something nice I am to sacrifice a lot.

When I replaced my computer monitor, I did so only because I was financially stable. So spending a hundred on a computer screen was no big deal. Though, when I am really counting my pennies, like now, I have to make life choices between paying the rent or having a new appliance. Therefore, I have yet to even buy a Switch for myself. Sadly, my 20 year fandom to Nintendo has reached its dead end. I was there for the expensive gameboys, the advances, the sps, the DSs and the 3Ds, but I will not be there for the Switches.

This only reveals Nintendo's flaws in their game compatibilities and transfers. So, it might actually be better for me in the long run.. Say Goodbye, Pikachu!

In other news, after five years I am slowing building up higher on the master pc race. I no longer have to hide behind the shadows of my potatoes computer, now I will have a home system that can mod games to unthinkable limits. --Or I might just watch more anime.

I can't please everyone, even myself. So I have to make huge choices as an adult. So, I apologize to all my dead fans for taking so long to return to making content. Just know, I have never given up on my dreams. Now that I have my own high end computer, there is only more time to release content. All I'm missing now is my camera so I can return to doing footage, but that's another story, for perhaps another financial battle.

So if you ever see me, with messy hair, crooked teeth, old clothes, just know that at least my computer games at 150 more fps than my haters.
