GTA SAN ANDREAS: STABLE MODLIST

Hello, everyone. Sorry this took so long, but I finally want to share with everyone my current modded Gta San Andreas Mod List.

Why?

To save you the trouble of course! Gta modding can be so complex and fragile, so I would rather share my current modlist to save everyone the trouble. New or returning? This is where you can start and play.

 -----------------------------------------------------

Basics.

Of course, you will need a clean copy of GTA San Andreas, the original, not the definitive edition, and not any Emulator ISO. Best bet is to google for a GTA disc retail version. This is a ps2 GTA  consumer copy from WAY back that's well protected before any modern DRM TOS.

Second, you will need a copy of the 1.0 Exe for GTA San Andreas, often called the Hoodlum version.  This is a simple mod file. Hoodlum.

Once you have those two basics, now you can start downloading and installing the core mods.

You can google each mod yourself, but I have also placed them together. Here.

1. Large Address

2. Ultimate Asi Loader

3. CLEO 4.4

4. NewOpcodes

5. CLEOplus

6. modloader

7. SilentPatchSA

8. SA widescreen fix

9. Open Limit Adjuster

After downloading these core mods and dumping them into the San Andreas Directory, you can now start adding mods into your new Modloader Folder.

MODS

I have chosen these mods as they are the most stable and will not crash your game (outside of your typical random crashing when it comes to modding games).

Feel free to add or ignore any of these mods in the modlist. I highly advise from here on out to simply download mods that go directly into the MODLOADER FOLDER.

Trust me, focusing on just mod loader will save you a lot of trouble and it will be easier to safely install and uninstal mods in the future

compared to using mods that need to go into your main directory.

Last advice.

-avoid messing around with gta editors when you can just dump replacers into your mod folder.

-watch out for any other mods that have (ifp) files, i.e GasStation(dot)ifp

GTA DOES NOT like many ifp files in your modlist. So careful downloading those type mods.

-Same goes for mods that have COL files. If you have more than 3 COL files, you will need to use ColEditor to compress them together into 1 single Col File.

-if you want HD graphics with ENB, use Direct. If you want HD textures use GTA Rosa.
